well! i feel like this ...people take the bible and make it what they want.if god says its a sin.then it is..no man on earth is over god.now i don't care what anyone does with their life..its on them.as long as they don't hurt anyone they chose to be with .if they're honest about their sexualitly.then its up to their choosen mate.that life style isn't my thing..because i love men.but again i don't judge anyone.i'm a caring person and if i see anyone no matter what their sexuality is, in need of help.if i can be there i would.because i love people,and as a christian i suppose to.too many christians i know think they're sitting on the right hand of god,who has so much sin in them its a shame,yet they get around strangers and act all holy,when i seen things that make me say...oooooooook!,so no one can truely say..there on skeletons in their closets...i know there's some in mine!...peace!

Homosexuality and how should a JW or 'Study' view it?
by AnitainFlorida ini am sure the subject is not very descriptive and for this i appologize.. i would like some assistnace in biblical references that say how homosexuality should be viewed and how one should deal with another that is homosexual or that has homosexual friends even if they non study's daughter says she and this other girl aren't 'doing anything'.
i know this is long winded, so i will just now finally get to the point.. i am a grandmother that has recently taken back up studying after a 1-2 year pause.
when i had first started studying, my daughter was also studying and we had our study togeather as i was staying with she and her husband because she had medical trouble and could not care for their 3 children when he was gone to work.

i feel if you truely believe what the bible say..you have to stay away from that kind of life style.but i feel sorry for those who are when they're getting based..some really do feel that they were born that way...i can't say they're lying...because i'm not in their head.but to me the way the world climes their back...i know i wouldn't want to go thought that mess.again there are those who chose to live that way.that's them..i hate no one because my heart is too big.i leave it up to god.but if i see someone gay or not that needs help,and i can help then...i would!

why when there's a funeral the preacher always say..."got called his son or daughter home.i went to a family funeral,not this relative lived a bad (with a capital bad) life.the family knew it.he was evil,hateful,treated people wrong,yet the preacher said he's gone to heaven...so i'm now thinking then what the hell!..is hell for.no matter what i always hear the preacher say that person is gone to heaven...i asked my brother-in-law,why don't anyone say ...this person is in hell(since hell is suppose to be a place for the sinners)are the preachers afraid to say that around the families?i'm confused!

14 year old rejected by father for not becoming jw
by orbison11 inok quick recap of events leading to this.
my dtr married young to prominent family in wtbs...had dtr...dtr now 14 years old....my dtr left hubby and wtbs about 10 yrs ago....she is doing very well in life...... she told me today her 14 years old dtr has not heard from her father (x-hubby) for over a month....why i ask???
?because she does not want to become a jw...............he now basically has very little , if anything, to do with her due to this.

frist i need to say this...bryanyou can't judge every one whos a witness,thinking they all are alike or believe the same...i know peole from different religions that disagree in their own teachings...so its the same with being a witness...i am a witness though i haven't been congregating in years...(my choice!)..i couldn't see myself dissing my kids..and i don't think i would ..even if it mean me being disfellowshipped...because thats a minor and he needs his parent..i can se if is an adult child..they can take care of themselves...still if i have a good relationship with my adult kid...and he/she was put out..i would still deal with my kid..and on one could tell me not to!there are people including witnesses..that has their own mind..i'm one of them...because only god can judge..but bryan...news flash baby!....there are other religions that teaches he same thing.again..i agree that i wouldn't disowned my babies for on one.still look at abraham he was ready to kill his child for god...who any of you do that if god told you to?it is in the bible to disfellowship a person whos going against god laws and refuse to change. but again..i couldn't treat my child like that!,and i hope that child has someone to fall back on.i wonder how it would have been if it was a mother..since we suppose to have the stronger bond.anyway...no ones perfect i don't care if they call themselves..preacher,pastor,deacon,or fathers,everyone sins.and i hope the dadis doing his best not to fonicate,commit adultry or anything eles thats against god..if so then he'll feel what his sons feeling!i feel gods will still be with the child!

hi i'm a witnesses though i haven't been at the hall for a while,and its not because of their teachings that cause me to stay away..ffrom what i see they do teach what jesus taught..though there are christians who claim the believe in everything jesus teaches...yet they call him and the witnesses a lier.i'm at times sad,and at times fell lonely..its not because again of the teachings..because though i'm a witness...i have my own mind...and i'll do whatever i want..if i want. its because i'm very picky when it comes to finding the right one.but if i did i wouldn't care if he was a witness or not...as long as he was a good man.still you asked as though every other christian on earth truely is happy all the time...it depends on each situation,when it comes to feeling sad..not the religion...people really do need to stop trippin on the witnesses.i seen people from other religions who were straight up...liers,cheaters,fonicators,adulterers,and everything eles.but its nothing really said about them.so the question should have been...DID YOU EVER TRULY SEEN A HAPPY CHRISTIAN...PERIOD!!...peace!

by sad and lonely ini just recently join this site because i was looking for a friendly place for witnesses to go and chat.it's ok!..but i seen a lot of witness bashing.there's another site i want to get into, that's also a site for the witnesses.but i don't know what po means.and that's the only way a true witness can get in.i think maybe there is where i want to be.because i don't need to be in a site for witnesses,where its suppose to be friendly.yet witness haters are coming in.i haven't heard any witness bashing anyone in this site..but yet its the other way around.

speaking in tongues....words with meanings or jibberish sounds?
by sad and lonely inhi my sister and brother-in-law who claims to be a preacher,see visions,and who claims god sends him messages,say that speaking in tongues isn't words anyone can understand but the one who's doing it.and only he can tell the people what he was saying.i didn't a gree with him.i trying to show him a scripture i read,about the flames coming over the congrgations head..(i'm not really good yet with finding scriptures on my own)but i know i read it!
he said i don't understand because i'm not in the carnal(being at gods level of understanding..as he is!
) i witness it recently when my brother-in-law was in the icu from a heart attack.his sista was at frist praying,then she started making those crazy sounds...i almost ran out!...it scared the crap out of me!...i don't believe thats from god...can anyone help with scriptures for me to show my family what speaking in tongues really is?...thanks!
